Join us this Easter
Come and celebrate the most important event in history!
For Christians the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ is the most important thing that has ever happened anywhere.
This year we have a range of things going on to help us all to celebrate the wonderful truth that Jesus died on the cross for us on Good Friday, and then rose again to life on Easter Sunday.
You would be more than welcome to join us at any of these events.
Good Friday All-in Service
Friday 18th April, 10:30am at St Helen's Church
A service where we will explore the death of Jesus, and why it matters for each one of us here today. An all-in service we all stay as one group, so you can expect the service to have something for you regardless of your age.
Hour at the Cross
Friday 18th April, 2pm at St Edmund's Church
A traditional service of one hour, remembering the death of Jesus for us in a quiet and reflective way.
Easter Family Fun
Saturday 19th April, 1pm-3:30pm at St Helen's Church
Big family fun is on the menu. Come along for stalls, games, sweets, prizes and excitement for the whole family. All activities are completely free!
Easter Communion Service
Sunday 20th April, 9am at St Edmund's Church
Join us for a traditional communion service to celebrate that Jesus Christ is risen this Easter morning.
Easter Service and Baptisms,
followed by an Easter Egg Hunt
Sunday 20th April, 10:30am at St Helen's Church
Come and celebrate that Jesus has risen from the dead with us. He has defeated sin and death so now we can have new life in Him. After the service there will be an Easter Egg hunt for the younger amongst us, with a small chocolatey prize included.
